2. To provide compensation to the victim's family.
3.  To ensure Videography of the Post-Mortem Report of the victim & the same is informed to NHRC.
4. To direct authorities for providing expert counselling and mental health treatment to the inmates in jail.

Suicide in Jailहत्या के मामले में सजा काट रहा था कैदी ज्ञान प्रताप। हाल ही में फैजाबाद जेल से कासगंज जिला में किया गया था शिफ्ट।

आगरा, जेएनएन। कासगंज जिला कारागार के हाई सिक्योरिटी बैरिक में बंद विचाराधीन कैदी ने बैरिक में ही चादर से फांसी लगाकर खुदकुशी कर ली। जिला प्रशासन में हड़कंप मच गया। शव पोस्टमार्टम के बाद स्वजनों को सौंप दिया गया है। कैदी को 2019 में अयोध्या जिला जेल से कासगंज जेल में स्थांतरित किया गया था।

शनिवार की सुबह कासगंज जेल की हाई सिक्योरिटी बैरिक में बंद हत्या के मामले में विचाराधीन अकबरपुर निवासी 23 वर्षीय ज्ञान सिंह का शव बैरिक में फांसी पर लटका मिला। जब जानकारी जेल प्रशासन को हुई तो हड़कंप मच गया। फंदे से उतारकर शव को पोस्टमार्टम भेजा गया और सूचना स्वजनों को दी गई। बताया जाता है कि कैदी मूल रूप से अकबरपुर का रहने वाला था। उस हत्या सहित आधा दर्जन मामले थे। 16 फरवरी 2019 को उसे अयोध्या से कासगंज जिला जेल में शिफ्ट किया गया था। कैदी को जेल की हाई सिक्योरिटी बैरिक में रखा गया था।

हाई सिक्योरिटी बैरिक में एक ही कैदी काे रखा जाता है। संभवत: बंदी ने शुक्रवार देर रात खुदकुशी की है। शनिवार की सुबह जब बैरिक खुली तब इसकी जानकारी हुई। शव का पोस्टमार्टम कराया गया। स्वजनों के पहुंचने पर शव उनके सुपुर्द कर दिया गया है।
