I want to draw your attention towards the news published in Indian Express on 5th July, 2011 " 6-year-old stripped, locked inside school toilet for bad handwriting" (paper clipping is enclosed) http://epaper.indianexpress.com/7351/Indian-Express/05-July-2011#p=page:n=6:z=1

 

A six year old girl was reportedly stripped naked and locked up by her teacher in the school toilet for hours because her handwriting was bad. The girl, a student of the Islamic school in Shahpur area, was also reportedly threatened that she would be paraded naked in the school compund if she complained about the incident.

 

Therefore it is a kind request please take appropriate action and direct State Government to create a guideline against corpal punishment and it should be included in the syllabus
