Sir,
Greetings from PVCHR.

RPF jawan assaults auto driver
PATNA: An autorickshaw driver, Ganesh Sharma, was allegedly beaten up by an RPF constable, Lallan Singh, just outside the Danapur station on Saturday. He suffered injuries on his head. The incident took place while ECR GM K K Srivastava was inspecting the Danapur station along with the Danapur DRM.
Irked at the behavior of the RPF jawan, the injured driver rushed to the Khagaul police station and lodged an FIR in the matter. Khagaul police station in-charge Harpreet Kaur, IPS, sent policemen to the Danapur RPF post to inquire into the incident and bring the accused to the police station for recording his statement. However, the RPF constable fled away, giving a slip to the police, sources said.
According to Kaur, the matter is under investigation. Unfortunately, the Danapur RPF post is not cooperating with the police. This is the second incident in which RPF men were involved in assaulting people just outside the Danapur RPF post, she said. The Danapur RPF refused to say anything about the incident. A large number of autorickshaw drivers demanded immediate arrest of the RPF constable.
Sir, on behalf of PVCHR, I request you to look into the matter and take necessary action.
With regards,
Dr. Mohanlal Panda
