Sir,
Please refer to the following link that forms the basis of my complaint.

According to this report nine female foetuses have been found in a drain in Maharashtra's Beed district. Police have registered an FIR against unknown persons after the story was first reported on IBN Lokmat. Incidentally, Beed district has the lowest child sex ratio in Maharashtra with 801 girls per 1000 boys, while the state's average stands at 883 girls per 1000 boys.
The news also reports that  the area SP claimed that just two foetuses have been found against nine as reported on Saturday.
Even though the police claimed that there were only two foetuses, against the locals claim to to have seen at least nine, what is important is the continuing and growing national concern on deterioring sex ratio.
Sir, I request NHRC to look into the state's failure to curb female infanticide in Beed district, knowing fully the existing adverse sex ration in the same district. The state has also failed in sensitising the citizens about the role and importance of the girl child in the family and the society. It also points towards existing illigal sex determination tests undertaken by the medical fraternity in the area.

With regards,
Dr. Mohanlal Panda
